New family homes taking shape on the skyline at Bath’s Holburne Park

The much-anticipated phase two of Holburne Park’s development is visibly taking shape as you can see from these photos. The site is transformed and the new homes are starting to appear out of the ground. The second phase will include two brand new house styles becoming available for the first time – the Finch and the Holden.

The stunning array of large, family homes planned for phase two, will offer new choice for potential home owners. The brand-new Finch and Holden house designs will make their debut alongside a selection of the Coates house style, which proved very popular in phase one. This selection of four-bedroom homes at Holburne Park will offer modern and flexible living within the soon to be built three-storey properties.

The striking four-bedroom Finch features a contemporary open plan living and dining area on the ground floor, complete with a fully integrated kitchen and utility room. A spacious study, first-floor drawing room with Juliet balconies and four bedrooms, including an elegant master bedroom suite, complete this stunning large family home.
The Holden is an elegant three-story home with a beautifully designed kitchen and breakfast room, spacious dining and living room on the ground floor. The light-filled formal first-floor drawing room offers dual aspect views to the front and rear of the house and a spacious master suite with en-suite complete the first floor. Three bedrooms, one en-suite and a separate bathroom on the second floor make up this exceptional family home.
The facades on the new homes, designed by leading classical architect Robert Adam, are made of locally sourced Bath stone and natural materials with bespoke detailing, ensuring the homes blend in with the classical architecture of the city.

Over the past few months, Holburne Park has been a hive of activity as all the ground works get underway, including installing drainage, new roads and foundations for the homes. Bect Building Contractors, who were recently appointed as the lead construction contractor for phase two, are now in full swing constructing the houses from the ground up.

Francis Firmstone, director of Hardrock Developments, said: “This is a really exciting time as we see the next phase of Holburne Park starting to take shape, with the new, larger properties being added to this emerging new community.”

Vicky Dudbridge, a director at Savills, comments: “The site is in a wonderful location, with its combination of breath-taking views and easy access to both the city and the countryside, which has made us all the more determined to create homes of the quality and style that match their beautiful surroundings.”
