Potential buyers flock to see first show home

Potential buyers flocked to Bath’s classically-designed Holburne Park development at the weekend to get a first look inside its new show home.

Seventy per cent of the 32 homes for sale in the first phase have already been purchased since they went on the market earlier this year, with the first residents having now moved in.

The fully-furnished three-bedroom ‘Bowlby’ show home is part of the collection of villas, terraced and semi-detached houses being built in the first phase of Holburne Park, which is set in a secluded location below Warminster Road, with its grounds bordering the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal.

Vicky Dudbridge, director at Savills, says:

“It’s very exciting that the homes being created at Holburne Park are so popular. There has been much anticipation for the opening of the show home. Understandably buyers were keen to get inside and get a feel for what the homes would be like to live in, including a chance see for themselves the incredible attention to detail and standard of craftmanship.

“We’re particularly pleased with the range of buyers who’ve been attracted to Holburne Park, which promises to develop into a nicely-balanced community. This includes professional couples buying their first home together, families with children and newly-retiring downsizers.”

There are currently just four 3-bedroom homes remaining for sale at Holburne Park, starting from £545,000. Also available are 4-bedroom Coates three-storey town houses, starting at £955,000.
