Help to Buy scheme now on offer to help first-time buyers

Are you a first-time buyer or a homeowner looking to move? Then we’ve got good news as we’ve just had approval from the government’s Help to Buy scheme for some of own classically-designed houses at Holburne Park.

Offering financial support for people wanting to get onto the property ladder or move home, the Equity Help to Buy scheme offers buyers a government loan of up to 20% of the cost of the property so people only need to raise a 5% cash deposit and take out a 75% mortgage. The government loan is interest and fee-free for the first five years of owning the home. You cannot own any other property at the time you buy your new home to take advantage of the scheme.

The Help to Buy scheme is available on our ‘Beckford’ three-bedroom, mid terrace homes which offer modern, mews-style living with beautiful architectural features and generous living spaces. The meticulously-designed homes benefit from an open plan kitchen diner, a terrace leading out to the garden, two designated parking spaces in front of the property, a Bath stone facade and natural slate roof.

However, if you want to take advantage of this scheme, we suggest you get in contact soon as we expect strong interest and have already sold 75% of homes in the first phase of development.
As Vicky Dudbridge, a director at Savills explains:

“This vital financial support from the government’s Help to Buy scheme will help bring these beautiful homes within the reach of more young families and young professionals ensuring a vibrant and mixed community alongside other buyers, including newly retiring downsizers.”

There are currently just four 3-bedroom Beckford homes remaining for sale at Holburne Park, starting from £545,000. Also available are 4-bedroom Coates three-storey town houses, starting at £955,000.
