Daily Telegraph loves Holburne Park’s classical appeal

Holburne Park has already caught the attention of the nationals, but a recent article in The Daily Telegraph in May really sums up why the architecture is helping to set the development apart.

According to journalist Eleanor Doughty;

“The appeal of classical architecture lives on – and now it comes with a modern twist….Robert Adam, one of the UK’s most successful classical architects, has come to the city with a dream: to build a simple, beautiful neighbourhood of modern classical homes”.

She goes on to highlight the fact that people purchasing a home here get the chance to live in an Adam’ designed house at a reasonable price.

“What a boon for those buyers, getting a Adam house for a fraction of his usual fee.”

The Telegraph also notes the way Holburne Park has been designed to fit with Bath’s architectural heritage. In the words of Adam himself:

“People are buying into the fact that it’s Bath and it feels like Bath. It doesn’t feel like somebody’s interpretation of what modern Bath should be.”
